Terms of use: comparisons, picks and votes

Updated 4 November 2026.

Using MyGOAT

Comparisons and picks are for fun. The numbers come from public sources and can be wrong or out of date.

Your account

One account per person. Accounts made to stuff votes, and the votes they cast, may be removed.

Nominations

Nominate real footballers. Nominations that are not may be removed.

What you post

You can comment, reply, send voice notes, and add a bio and a photo. Keep it about football and keep it decent.

There is no place on MyGOAT for abuse, hate, threats, harassment, sexual content, impersonation or anything illegal. We remove it, usually within 24 hours of a report, and we stop accounts that post it from posting again.

Reporting and blocking

Report a comment or a fan from its … button and we will look at it within 24 hours. Block a fan from the same button and you will not see their comments or get notifications from them. You can unblock them from their profile.

Copying

MyGOAT's design, code, share pictures, picks and vote counts are MyGOAT's own. Don't copy them, scrape or harvest the site or its data, or use them to build a competing service.

The service

MyGOAT is provided as it is, without guarantees, and may change or stop.
